Join "Zane's Zone" Utah Down Syndrome Buddy Walk

On August 29th at Veterans Memorial Park in  West Jordan, we will be participating in the state wide buddy walk to support Down Syndrome and we're trying to build our team! We would LOVE to have you join us, the more the merrier!!!! Spread the word! Here are the details....

From now until August 5th it is early registration which means you'll be guaranteed a shirt in your size (you get a shirt no matter when you register but not a size guarantee) and a reduced price ($10 for 18yrs+, $7 for 2-18yrs goes up to $15 and $10) for the Buddy Walk! There is also a 5k at a different cost, you can do one or the other or both! (With so many smalls, we're just doing the walk!)

Here are the details of the day:

8:30 am, 5K Race (Registration between 7:30-8:15 a.m. for runners.)

9:00 - 10:30 am, Team captain check-in and t-shirt pick-up

9:00 - 10:30 am, Same day-registration (limited t-shirts available for same day registrations)

9:00 am - Noon (except during Walk), 'Shoot for the Stars' paper rocket launching, carnival, games, photo ops, exhibit booths and MUCH more!

9:00 am - Noon, STRIDER Balance Bike Adventure Zone -- and register for a bike giveaway.

10:30 am, Kick off and Buddy Walk in the park

11:30 am, Lunch served

Noon, End of the Walk (please help pick up the park before you leave)

Our team goal is $500!!! So please consider joining us at the walk or donating to the cause if you cannot come!
